Located in Portland, TN., Paddywax, LLC is a distributor of candles and other gift items to the wholesale and retail marketplace. We are seeking a Shipping Coordinator for our Portland, TN distribution center.

• Job Description: The role of Office Administrator and Shipping Coordinator is a critical role in the front office. You will need to have prior experience working in the front office of a distribution center. You will need to have experience in working with WMS systems and online BOL systems like Smart BOL., as well as prior knowledge of EDI systems like True Commerce and DI Central.
• Job Duties:
• Manages the clerical shipment and receipt of all products, materials, and supplies.
• Collaborates and communicates with logistics technicians, customer service representatives, service providers, and others involved in the shipment and receipt of product
• Tracks, traces, and updates the status of incoming and outgoing shipments.
• Maintains a clean, neat, and member-ready area.
• Maintains an accurate inventory of office supplies.
• Supervise administrative staff and divide responsibilities to ensure performance goals are met.
• Manage agendas/travel arrangements/appointments etc. for the upper management
• Create and update records and databases with personnel, financial and other data
• Submit timely reports and prepare presentations/proposals as assigned
• Assist colleagues whenever necessary
• Requirements:
• Proven experience as an shipping coordinator, office administrator, office assistant or relevant role
• Outstanding communication and interpersonal abilities
• Excellent organizational and leadership skills
• Familiarity with office management procedures
• Excellent knowledge of MS Office and WMS systems
• High School diploma

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $22.00 - $24.00 per hour
