Padron Construction, Inc. is an open-shop commercial construction company out of West Chicago, IL., specializing in multiple trades across the board. Scopes of work we are commonly hired on for are demolition, framing/drywall, acoustic ceilings, paint, and finished carpentry. We are focused on proficient work and quality business. Padron Construction, Inc. is constructed of a handful of office team members ready to provide any client with an honest and competitive quote. Our team takes pride in analyzing plans and details to understand a project ‘to the T’.
Padron Construction, Inc. works in multiple states throughout the Nation, reconstructing restaurants, offices, medical buildings, veterinary centers, retail, fitness centers / courts, resorts, apartments, etc.
Office hours are from 7:30 A.M. to 4:00 P.M., yet hours will vary due to project schedules. Weekend hours are little to none. Office tasks will require great organizational skills and proficiency in Google Workspace.
The ideal candidate is eager to get a job done well and the right way. Someone who is keen on due dates and timely on project schedules. Great interpersonal skills and ability to manage client relationships are a must. We are looking for someone with an enthusiastic outlook and a positive mindset.
Qualifications:
4 years of project management
Bachelor's degree preferred
Knowledge of commercial construction terminology and safety precautions
Proficient computer skills - We use Google Workspace
Ability to read and understand contracts and agreements
Ability to analyze and understand prints/plans in a timely manner
Ability to write and estimate proposals
Strong oral and written communication
Responsibilities:
Manage 2 project sites at a time
Maintain project schedule consistency / ensure jobs are completed on time
Read plans and create proposals on tight deadline schedules
Work hand-in-hand with ownership on projects
Create and submit change orders
Manage client relationships
Represent Padron Construction, Inc. in project meetings and job walks
Work as a team member on-site and in office
Assist in managing purchase logs and billings
Quick problem solving skills for on-site occurrences
