Pafco Casting is Hiring a Laser Operator Near New York, NY
## Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled Laser Operator to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for operating laser machines to engrave jewelry or cut it.
## Duties
- Set up and operate laser cutting machines
- Program machines to produce parts based on customer requests.
- Conduct quality inspections of finished products
- Utilize precision measuring instruments such as micrometers
- Perform maintenance tasks on laser cutting equipment
- Work with CNC machinery for metal fabrication
### Required Skills:
- Proficiency in operating laser cutting machines
- Experience in quality inspection of metal parts
- Familiarity with precision measuring instruments like micrometers
### Nice-to-Have Skills:
- Experience with CNC machinery
You will also be in charge of CAD Designs and need to speak with customers about their designs and understand it so that you can communicate it to individial CAD Designers. Once the CAD is complete you need to verify it and send it to customers for confirmation.
