Palfinger AG is Hiring an Industrial Engineer Near Oklahoma, OK
- Coordinate the various aspects of the industrial engineering – including fixture design, project planning, and process development.
- Provide guidance and engineering support to Continuous Improvement and Quality department.
- Assist in the development of processing plans, routing structures, work center structures, methods, design, materials handling, manpower requirements, time studies, and cost analysis.
- Oversee the development and maintenance of long- and short-term processing plans.
- Prepare and review project proposals, studies, and technical reports.
- Oversee the cost effective, safe, and timely completion of projects that meet or exceed expectations.
- Apply a sound basic knowledge of safety, environmental, and energy-related issues during the execution of projects.
- Represent the department within the company and represent the company to external vendors and contractors.
- Support cross plant initiatives.
- All other duties as assigned.
- Bachelor of Industrial, Manufacturing, Electrical, or Mechanical Engineer required with four (4) years of experience.
- Core Competencies:
- Lean Manufacturing background and knowledge of the like.
- Strong computer skills: Windows, Word, Excel, Power Point
- Strong working knowledge of ERP systems: SAP
- General CAD knowledge: Pro-E, Solidworks, AutoCAD and Creo
- Team player able to build and maintain relationships with both internal and external colleagues.
- Flexible to change and open to constructive feedback.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Strong organizational and interpersonal skills
- Able to work independently with minimal supervision.
