PALFINGER is searching for a Project Manager to ensure that new project goals are set up and executed. This position is located out of our Council Bluffs, IA facility and will report to the Senior Project Manager.
Responsibilities:
- Ensure successful project completion in terms of cost, scope and time.
- Drive the global PDP (Product Development Process) and the related tools.
- Plan and execute “PDP & tools”- trainings for your project team members.
- Responsible for an active stakeholder - management.
- Ensure cross-functional communication on an international level.
- Responsible for internal and external project marketing and reporting.
- Coordination and leading of project teams.
- Perform active project risk management and target costing.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor or Master’s degree in Engineering or Business.
- 3 years of relevant work experience within Project Management.
- Experience in the management of R&D projects preferred.
- Strong analytic and conceptual capabilities.
- Able to structure complex problems.
- Highly motivated self-starter with entrepreneurial skills.
- Flexible personality, operates well in intercultural environments.
- Enjoys working in a creative and global team.
- Fluent in English, additional languages are a plus.
- Strong computer skills.
- Willingness to travel.
