The Supplier Relationship Analyst will be responsible for supporting the Global Integrated Supply Chain team by providing a blend of support at both the tactical and strategic levels to deliver results in line with the Global Commodity Sourcing Plan. This role will assist with sourcing activities related to Pall’s direct material requirements, suppliers, and data analytics.

This position is part of the Global Integrated Supply Chain team and will be located onsite in New Port Richey, FL.

In this role, you will have the opportunity to:

  • Data Analysis & Reporting (40%): Collect, analyze, and interpret supplier data to provide insights and recommendations to the SRM’s & Commodity Leaders, enabling them to make informed decisions regarding supplier selection, management and commodity framework. Conduct research and market analysis on supplier capabilities, market trends, and best practices to support effective supplier selection & relationship management.

  • Supplier Management Support (30%): Assist in measuring and tracking supplier performance against established metrics, using data analysis to identify trends, areas of improvements and potential risks. Review supplier contracts to extract key data points and terms, providing analysis and recommendations on contract renewals, amendments and negotiations. Collaborate with SRM’s to identify and assess potential risks associated with suppliers, leveraging data analysis to develop risk mitigation strategies and contingency plans.

  • Collaboration & Communication (20%): Work closely with cross-functional teams, i.e. sourcing, procurement and finance, to ensure effective information sharing and alignment on supplier-related activities & objectives.

  • Tactical and Strategic Pursuit of Sourcing KPI Targets (10%): Purchase Price Change (PPC), Purchase Price Variance (PPV), Supplier Days Payable Outstanding (DPO), Value Analysis Value Engineering (VAVE), Supplier On-Time Delivery (OTD), e-Auctions, Request for Quotations (RFQs) and Purchase Volume (PVO).

The essential requirements of the job include:

  • Associate’s degree with 2 years of experience working with sourcing/procurement; Bachelors degree preferred with 1 year.

  • Strong analytical skills, with proficiency in data analysis & interpretation including Excel proficiency.

  • Agile communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively in cross-functional teams.

  • Experience with supplier management in manufacturing industry.

  • Highly analytical and SAP or Oracle experience

It would be a plus if you also possess previous experience in:

  • Proven ability to develop relationships with suppliers, preferably some work with global suppliers.

  • Adeptness in critical thinking and creative problem resolution and continuous improvement principles.

  • Supplier negotiations, supplier risk experience.
