Join our dynamic team at our Doral Warehouse as a Logistics Manager! We're seeking an experienced individual to oversee our fleet of 10 trucks and 150 trailers across Florida. Tasks
Manage a fleet of 10 trucks and 150 trailers across the state of Florida, including repairs and maintenance
Manage a team of 10 drivers, including but not limited to: hiring, payroll, and adherence to corporate policies and state regulations
Logistics Coordination: Coordinate logistics operations, including scheduling, tracking, and managing shipments to and from local and regional distribution centers. Ensure cost-effectiveness and efficiency in all logistics operations. Collaborate with internal teams and external partners to ensure timely delivery of goods and materials, resolving any issues or delays.
Customer Service & Management: Provide outstanding customer service by promptly addressing customer inquiries, resolving issues, and maintaining a high level of customer satisfaction. Monitor and track customer balances to ensure timely payments and continuation of service.
ERP System Management: Utilize ERP systems for order processing, inventory management, and logistics coordination. Ensure data accuracy and leverage system capabilities to improve operational efficiency. Utilize software systems to manage transportation routes, track shipments, and generate reports.
Vendor and Partner Communication: Maintain effective communication with vendors, transport partners, and internal teams to ensure smooth operation and timely resolution of any challenges. Manage relationships with third-party logistics providers (3PLs) and negotiate contracts.
Compliance and Documentation: Ensure all logistics activities comply with relevant laws, regulations, and company policies. Manage and maintain accurate records and documentation for all shipments and transactions.
Continuous Improvement: Identify and implement continuous improvement opportunities in logistics processes, customer service practices, and overall operational efficiency.
Hours in the office are at minimum 9-5, but the candidate needs to be available via phone outside of the office to manage drivers if need be.
RequirementsRequirements:
Fluent in English and Spanish
More than 5 years experience in logistics and management
Knowledge in repair and maintenance of trucks and trailers.
Effective communication skills to collaborate with internal teams and external partners.
Strong knowledge of freight transportation processes, warehouse management systems, and inventory control practices.
Familiarity with category management principles and strategies.
Proficient in using logistics software systems for tracking shipments and generating reports.
Excellent organizational skills with the ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines.
Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to think critically and make sound decisions.
