Join our dynamic team at Palmetto Moon, a leading southern retailer dedicated to providing exceptional products and services to our customers. We are seeking a talented and creative Part-Time Graphic Designer to contribute to our marketing and design efforts in a collaborative and fast-paced environment.
Job Summary:
As a Part-Time Graphic Designer, you will work onsite at our Corporate Office and play a crucial role in creating visually compelling designs that enhance our brand and engage our customers. This role will primarily focus on the creation of graphics, including but not limited to email campaigns, digital ads, social campaigns, and website creative assets for PalmettoMoonOnline.com. You will report directly to the Creative Designer and will be expected to bring innovation to your designs and possess a passion for creativity with digital media.
Key Responsibilities:

• Design and develop visually appealing email campaigns, including layout, graphics, and templates.
• Create web graphics such as banners, landing pages, and promotional materials.
• Develop store assets including signage, posters, and point-of-sale materials that enhance the retail experience.
• Conceptualize and execute campaign ideas in collaboration with the marketing team that align with brand guidelines and objectives.
• Ensure all designs are consistent with the company's branding and messaging standards.
• Stay updated with the latest design trends and tools to ensure innovative and high-quality outputs.
• Assist with other design-related tasks as needed.
• Communicate and collaborate effectively with multiple department heads within the company (Marketing, E-commerce, Merchants, CEO, EVP/CBO, Vendors, etc.) to contribute to company strategies.

Qualifications

• 1-2 years of professional experience in graphic design, preferably in email marketing, web graphics, and retail assets.
• Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign).
• Strong portfolio showcasing a variety of design projects, including email campaigns, web graphics, and retail/store assets.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Self-starter with the ability to be proactive, take initiative, and present ideas.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
• Effective communication skills and the ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams.
• Ability to receive and incorporate feedback into design revisions.
• In-depth knowledge of the digital space and best practices in social media, e-commerce, and digital advertising.
• Familiarity with HTML/CSS for email design is a plus.
• Bachelor's degree in Graphic Design preferred or equivalent experience, with a minimum of 1-2 years creating content and material for a fashion company.
