Job Title:Contract Admin/ Inside Sales IJob Level: Entry LevelDepartment:Sales & MarketingJob Category:ProfessionalsReports to Title:Contracts & Compliance ManagerFLSA Classification:Non-ExemptSummaryThe Inside sales I will administer activities with non-complex contracts for the sale of goods and services, equipment, materials and products. Responsible for review of solicitations, provide required support for proposals, contract negotiation including terms and conditions, prices, and cash flow, contract performance and contract closeout under the general supervision. Essential Duties and ResponsibilitiesEssential functions of the position include, but are not limited to:
  • Responsible for post award contract administration, follow-up, general problem solving and order status
  • Coordinate with Account Managers, Supply Chain, Pricing and other functions as applicable to ensure contractual requirements are met
  • Participate in customer calls and meetings (as applicable)
  • Perform and maintain order entry in Palomar MRP/ERP and other Government systems such as Wide Area Workflow (WAWF) and Commercial Asset Visibility System (CAVS)
  • Maintain Contracts repository/ records ensuring consistency and standardization
  • Monitor On-Time contract deliveries
  • Assist with review of solicitations and provide proposal support for submission to customer
  • Participate in reviewing Contracts and/or subcontracts inclusive of contracts terms and conditions
  • Review of contact amendments and changes
  • Maintain close contact with customers, preserve and enhance Palomar’s image with its customers, thus ensuring favorable long-term relationships
  • Interface with accounting to resolve any payment issues (as required)
  • Responsible for ensuring proper document control is maintained
  • Prepare periodic reports for dissemination (as applicable)
  • Provide on-going assistance to other departments within Palomar during day-to-day operations
  • Perform such other assignments as may be required from time to time by management
QualificationsQualifications
  • Ability to quickly learn MRP system and other required systems
  • Must have excellent communication and oral communication skills
  • Proficient in MS Office Suite
  • Strongly motivated, engaged and self-driven
  • Proven good judgment, organizational and problem-solving skills
  • Must be a US person
Education
  • Four-year college in Business, accounting or a related field
  • Require up to three (3) years’ experience in Government Contract Administration
Salary Range: $50,000 - $60,000Physical DemandsEssential functions may require maintaining physical condition necessary for standing, walking, twisting, reaching, bending, kneeling and climbing stairs. Job may require performance of light lifting of office equipment and records up to thirty (30) pounds.Work EnvironmentWork is performed in a two-story office environment and requires sitting for prolonged periods of time using a computer keyboard and screen.
