Job Description
Local law firm has an immediate opening for a full-time Litigation Paralegal! Qualified candidates will possess a strong work ethic and be a self-motivator.
Responsibilities:
- Prepare and file documents
- Summarize depositions and discovery responses
- Draft pleadings, motions, notices, and subpoenas
- Conduct electronic research and perform document searches
- Create, index, and maintain files
- Request and compile medical records and prepare medical chronologies
- Assist with preparation for hearings and trials
- Organize trial notebooks and trial exhibits
- Assist attorneys with any other critical tasks
Qualifications:
- Minimum 5 years' experience as a paralegal/legal assistant in litigation required
- Ability to multi-task and prioritize efficiently
- Strong attention to detail
- Excellent communication skills
- Ability to work independently with little supervision
