Senior Property Accountant

$70,000 - $80,000 (lucrative bonus and BEST benefits in town)

Description of Responsibilities:

• financial information detailing assets, liabilities, and capital
• with quarterly 10Q and annual 10K reporting along with other ad-hoc management reporting
• for review of accounts receivable and accounts payable, expense accruals, bank account reconciliations, etc., for assigned properties
• all invoicing and payables for properties
• the accuracy and propriety of all financial data and reports
• and review of financial statements, monthly and quarterly reports, along with variance analysis
• multiple accounting and reporting projects by collaborating with team members, property and asset managers, and other departments
• and interpret lease verbiage as it relates to CAM and real estate tax provisions
• modify, document and coordinate the implementation of accounting and control procedures
• financial records are maintained in compliance with GAAP and internal policies and procedures
• recommend and initiate process improvements and enhancements
• in preparation of audit and review work papers for internal and external audits
• property management team with preparation of annual budgets and operating expense reconciliations

Requirements:

• degree in Accounting with 2 years in Big 4 or large regional public accounting firm
• or MBA strongly preferred
• Excel skills
• be detail oriented and a team player
• to develop and maintain strong relationships with cross functional teams
• be deadline driven
• written and verbal communication skills
