The Position:

As a Technician III at Panorama Eyecare, you will play a pivotal role in our mission to deliver the best eyecare. You'll be part of a collaborative team that values Partnership, Engagement, Excellence, and Stewardship.  Key Responsibilities:

  • Patient intake and workup, following standardized protocol. 
  • Ophthalmic diagnostic testing at Level III proficiency. 
  • Patient counseling and education as needed. 
  • Awareness of patient flow issues and ability to maintain efficient clinical flow. 
  • Updates daily schedule by assessing no-shows and add-ins. 
  • Scribes in a rotational pattern. 
  • Answers and returns phone calls and writes scripts as requested by physicians and other departments. 
  • Stocking and cleaning clinic as needed. 
  • Facilitates patient experience by assisting physician in overall patient care. 
  • Works within the confines of the team by assisting other departments with answers to questions, patient triage, etc. 
  • Maintains a professional demeanor, including dress and work conversation.
  • Understands and solves patient complaints. 
  • Other duties as assigned. 

Requirements

Requirements:

  • COA, COT or COMT preferred. 
  • High school diploma or equivalent required. 
  • Prior experience in a fast-paced medical office and in electronic health record preferred. 

Performance/Skills Requirements: 

  • Completion of Level II skill proficiencies to the satisfaction of Clinical Operations Manager. 
  • Efficiency scores to the satisfaction of Clinical Operations Manager. 
  • Customer service to the satisfaction of Clinical Operations Manager. 
  • Effectively and empathetically communicate in both oral and written formats. 
  • Fluency in Spanish a plus. 

Physical Demands:

  • Ability to be on your feet for long periods of time. 
  • Ability to lift up to 25 pounds. 
  • Ability to raise hands and arms to shoulder level without restriction, pain, or discomfort. 
  • Ability to perform extended use of phones and computer terminals, as well as diagnostic equipment without pain or discomfort. 

Additional Job Details:

  • Floats between our clinic locations in Fort Collins.
  • This is a Full-Time Position.
  • Compensation for this role will be $26.50 - $38.50 per hour.
  • Pay rate will be based on certification and proven skill ability during interview.
