The Position:

As a Senior Accountant at Panorama Eyecare, you will play a pivotal role in our mission to deliver the best eyecare. The Role: 

As a Senior Accountant at Panorama Eyecare, you'll be part of a dynamic team supporting our accounting department. We're looking for someone who not only understands accounting principles but is also eager to contribute to our financial operations. This role is a gateway to gaining practical experience in various core accounting functions, offering a platform for professional growth and development. 

To be successful as a senior accountant, you should have a solid working knowledge of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP) and strong financial analysis skills. An outstanding senior accountant should also possess strong Excel skills, be detail-oriented, highly organized, and able to work with little to no supervision. 

• Handle month-end close processes across multiple entities 
• Prepare and post journal entries with accuracy and attention to detail. 
• Reconcile sub-ledger to general ledger account balances 
• Communicate and collaborate with internal depts to ensure complete and accurate financial reporting 
• Prepare financial statements 
• Perform monthly balance sheet and income statement variance analyses 
• Support internal and external audit processes by gathering documentation and providing requested information. 
• Assist with other accounting tasks, special projects, and process improvements as needed. 

Requirements

 Who You Are 

• Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field required.
• Two to three years of relevant accounting experience. 
• Public accounting experience preferred 
• Proficient with Microsoft Excel
• Active CPA License or actively pursuing CPA licensure preferred 

Additional Job Details 

• Flexible/Hybrid work model, in-office time spent at our clinic location, Denver Eye Surgeons.
• This is a Full-Time Position. 
• Compensation for this role will be $75,000 - $90,000 annually based on experience/certification.
