Pantheon Data is Hiring an Editor Near Washington, DC

Company Overview

Pantheon Data (a Kenific Holding company) is a private, small business based in the Washington, DC, area. Pantheon Data was founded in 2011, initially providing acquisition and supply chain management services to the US Coast Guard. Our service offerings have grown in the past ten years, including infrastructure resiliency, contact center operations, information technology, software engineering, program management, strategic communications, engineering, and cybersecurity. We have also grown our customer base to include commercial clients. The company has used this experience to expand our service offerings to other agencies within the Department of Homeland Security (DHS), the Department of Defense (DoD), and other Federal Civilian Agencies.

Position Overview

Pantheon Data is seeking an Editor, with the following, to support the Boats Surface Acquisition Program for the US Coast Guard. A strong candidate will have the ability to assist the government with the Acquisition Lifecycle Framework.

Required Skills & Experience

  • Must have a minimum of three (3) years' work experience and a BA/BS degree or MA/MS degree
  • Plan, coordinate, or edit content of material for publication
  • Review proposals and drafts for possible publication
  • Assist government PM/dPM with acquisition lifecycle requirements and scheduling to ensure completion of acquisition decision events and other front office requirements are met in timely manner.

Preferred Skills & Experience

  • USCG or Navy experience
  • Experience supporting major acquisition programs

Education

BS or MS in a Technical, Engineering, or Marine field

Clearance Requirements

U.S. Citizenship with the ability to obtain and maintain a Public Trust Clearance.

Work Location

USCG Headquarters, St. Elizabeth's, 1790 Ash St. SE Washington, DC; hybrid schedule: onsite 4 days per week, telework authorized 1 day per week.

Compensation

The salary range for this position is $75,000 - $85,000. This is not, however, a guarantee of compensation or salary. Rather, salary will be set based on experience, geographic location and possibly contractual requirements and could fall outside of this range.
