Pantheon Data was founded in 2011, initially providing acquisition and supply chain management services to the US Coast Guard. Position Overview

Pantheon Data is seeking an Electrical Engineer to support the National Security Cutter (NSC) Acquisition Program.

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in electrical engineering, other similar engineering program, or relevant technical program. An additional 6 years work experience or 4 years of additional work experience with an Associate's degree may be substituted for a Bachelor's Degree
• Shall have at least seven (7) years demonstrated experience with Government or large commercial vessel design, construction, and repair with primary focus on Machinery Control and Monitoring Systems (MCMS), electrical wiring, schematics, cabling, and electrical/mechanical controls systems
• Familiarity with the development of work items, drawings, analysis, cost estimates, and technical reports for ship repair or related projects; and/or participation in a DOD/DHS ACAT Level I (major) acquisition program are desired

Responsibilities

• Conduct engineering design research and advise on technical issues or deficiencies
• Review Contract Data Requirements List (CDRL) and other technical submittals from shipbuilders for specification adherence
• Conduct schematic reviews and electrical system analysis including load distribution, vital/non-vital loads, and LVR/LVP requirements in order to evaluate planned engineering changes in support of major shipbuilding acquisition and repair projects
• Review electrical distribution drawings, block diagrams, wiring diagrams, and control schematics for completeness and conformance to the NSC technical specifications
• Review and/or create engineering charges for ship power generating and electrical distribution systems.
• Analyze non-electrical engineering changes for impacts on the use and distribution of electrical power and the relevant interfaces
• Work with an engineering support team ensuring quality control standards of deliverables

Clearance Requirements:

U.S. Citizenship with the ability to obtain and maintain a DoD Secret clearance

Work Location:

Washington, DC - USCG HQ - St. Elizabeth's Campus - 1 day onsite/4 days telework

Compensation

The salary range for this position is $90,000 - $120,000. This is not, however, a guarantee of compensation or salary. Rather, salary will be set based on experience, geographic location and possibly contractual requirements and could fall outside of this range.
