The company has used this experience to expand our service offerings to other agencies within the Department of Homeland Security (DHS), the Department of Defense (DoD), and other Federal Civilian Agencies.

Position Overview

Pantheon Data has a need for an IBM Content Manager (CM) Administrator to support our cloud migration projects for federal clients. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience managing and administering IBM CM 8.x, with a particular focus on cloud migration to AWS GovCloud environments.

Responsibilities

  • Plan, document, and execute detailed migration strategies for IBM Content Manager from on-prem AIX-based systems to AWS GovCloud, ensuring minimal downtime and data integrity.
  • Lead the IBM CM data migration from on-prem file store to AWS cloud storage.
  • Administer and configure IBM CM environments, including ongoing maintenance, performance tuning, and backup management.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including WebSphere and DB2 administrators, to ensure seamless integration and optimal performance of IBM CM within the AWS cloud environment.
  • Implement security measures according to DoD standards, ensuring data protection, access controls, and encryption are in place.
  • Develop and maintain detailed documentation for the migration process, system configurations, and customizations.
  • - Provide application support for migration to resolve technical issues and ensure system stability.
  • Monitor system performance post-migration and optimize content management workflows to leverage AWS infrastructure.

Required Skills and Experience

  • Bachelor's degree in information technology, Computer Science, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 8 years of overall IT experience including 5 years administering IBM Content Manager systems.
  • Strong understanding of AIX operating systems and RHEL on AWS services.
  • Experience with DB2 databases and IBM WebSphere Application Server.
  • Familiarity with DoD security compliance standards and government cloud solutions.
  • Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.
  • Ability to work independently and in a collaborative environment.

Preferred Skills and Experience

  • IBM Certified Content Manager Administrator.
  • Hands-on experience with automation tools like Ansible or Terraform.
  • Experience in federal or government cloud migration projects.

Clearance Requirements

U.S. Citizenship with the ability to obtain and maintain a DoD Secret clearance.

Work Location

United States - Remote with occasional travel to client sites.

Compensation

The salary range for this position is $83,000 - $113,000. This is not, however, a guarantee of compensation or salary. Rather, salary will be set based on experience, geographic location and possibly contractual requirements and could fall outside of this range.
