Pantheon Data was founded in 2011, initially providing acquisition and supply chain management services to the US Coast Guard. Position Overview

Pantheon Data is seeking a Journeyman Mechanical Engineer support to provide engineering support to the U.S. Coast Guard National Security Cutter (NSC) Acquisition Program.

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in mechanical engineering, other similar engineering program, or relevant technical program. An additional 6 years work experience or 4 years of additional work experience with an Associate's degree may be substituted for a Bachelor's Degree.
• Seven (7) years demonstrated experience with Government or large commercial vessel design, construction, and repair with primary focus on propulsion and auxiliary mechanical systems.

Responsibilities:

• Conduct engineering design research and advise clients on technical issues or deficiencies affecting ship production, operations and maintenance
• Review Contract Data Requirements List (CDRL) submittals from the shipbuilder for specification adherence
• Review shipbuilder drawings to support planned production AND Engineering Change Proposals (ECPs) for technical acceptance
• Work with an engineering support team ensuring quality control standards of deliverables for clients

Clearance Requirements:

U.S. Citizenship with the ability to obtain and maintain a DoD Secret clearance.

Work Location:

Washington, DC - USCG HQ - St. Elizabeth's Campus - 1 day onsite/4 days telework
