Responsibilities:
- Greet and seat guests in a friendly and timely manner
- Take food and drink orders accurately and efficiently
- Provide recommendations and answer questions about menu items
- Ensure timely delivery of food and beverages to guests' tables
- Monitor guest satisfaction and promptly address any concerns or issues
- Process payments using a cash register and handle cash transactions
- Assist with bussing tables and maintaining cleanliness in the dining area
- Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure accurate food preparation and delivery
- Maintain knowledge of daily specials, menu changes, and restaurant promotions
Requirements:
- Previous experience in a customer service or hospitality role is preferred
- Strong communication skills to interact effectively with guests and team members
- Basic math skills for handling cash transactions and calculating bills
- Ability to multitask and work in a fast-paced environment
- Excellent attention to detail to ensure accuracy in order taking and food delivery
- Ability to stand for long periods of time and lift trays of food or drink items
