This position provides design support to structural engineers for various projects including water, wastewater, stormwater, drainage, transportation, and facilities.

• Prepare plans, profiles, and detail drawings using Microstation, OpenRoads, OpenBridge, and Civil-3D based on detailed sketches or redlines.
• Create construction documents showing elevations, profiles, and cross-sections, and assist in developing draft design engineering drawings.
• Adhere to company drafting standards including layer names, line and character styles, and sheet layout.
• Analyze input materials to effectively plan and complete drawings with minimal supervision.
• Maintain ongoing communication with Project Managers on project progress and resource needs.
• Organize work area to facilitate information access by team members.
• Remain flexible in task and team assignments.

• Associate's Degree in Computer-Aided Drafting and Design from an accredited institution.
• Minimum 7 years of relevant experience.
• Proficient in Microstation, ProjectWise, and Civil-3D.
• Familiarity with OpenRoads and/or OpenBridge is advantageous.
• Strong oral and written communication skills.
• Effective interpersonal skills for collaboration with colleagues, clients, and public officials.
• Self-motivated and able to work independently.
• Capable of functioning effectively within a team environment.
• Ability to work 8 am to 5 pm, Monday through Friday, with occasional overtime.
