Par 4 Plastics, Inc. is Hiring a 1st Shift Shipping/Receiving Specialist Near Marion, KY

I. Job Description:

· Coordinate daily with Shipping Team Leader to ensure customer requirements are
shipped on time and in full.

· Provide dock support, in terms of Receiving and Shipping product including the receipt of
materials, packaging, finished goods or components, purchased items through
UPS/FedEx or other LTL services.

· Provide support within the shipping department through inventory accuracy, shipment
accuracy and administrative duties.

· Provide timely and accurate inventory reports to Production Control.

· Ensure all product is stored in proper location, practicing FIFO protocol.

II. Required Skills:

· Must have good time management skills to ensure documents get processed in a timely manner.

· Ability to follow written instructions and all company procedures to ensure all shipments and receivables are 100% accurate.

· Have an ability to communicate professionally with team members.

· Perform written and verbal correspondence with company personnel and customers as needed.

· Have ability to work with little to no supervision.

· Ability to climb ladders in a safe manner.

· Ability to lift up to 50lbs.

· Required to maintain a Par 4 forklift certification.

III. Essential Functions:

· Understand and work with packing slips, bills of lading and other shipping documents.

· Ensures that skid audit verification is completed, loading all product with 100% accuracy.

· Verification of inbound shipments, including verification of what is received verses what
is on corresponding paperwork (packing slip, bills of lading, or purchase order).

· Records data of inbound/outbound shipments from/to customers in terms of skid
quantities.

· Maintains record of inbound material receipts, and turning in all paperwork of associated
shipment to Purchasing for receipt.

· Responsible for checking in product including but not limited to components, material,
and new packaging while notifying the Shipping Team Leader and Quality department to
any issues upon receipt.

· Verify label vs. contents (product label to Kanban) when pulling product to ship.

· Provide and understand the proper completion of paperwork. Provide legible, accurate
and complete documents.

· Provide company personnel responses to appropriately address issues and provide
management with information regarding these issues.

· Maintain high level of knowledge of company products and customer orders.

· Perform and maintain proper work methods, part inspection, tool and equipment
storage, housekeeping and safety.

· Communicate deficiencies to Shipping Team Leader as they arise.

· Completes necessary paperwork for daily shipments accurately and efficiently. All
paperwork finalized and returned to Production Control once available.

· Ensure all trucks and trailers have tires chocked prior to loading/unloading.

· Other duties as assigned.

IV. Performance Criteria:

· Ensure compliance to all safety standards and ensure all safety equipment is working
properly.

· Ensure that all safety procedures are being enforced while performing tasks. Alert any
safety issues to the shift supervisors in writing.

· Always protect product from damage and defects while performing tasks.

· Ensure that all equipment is operating in the manner of its intended design. If not give
written notice to the appropriate department for repair or removal.

· Ensure compliance to all QMS, SOPs, ISO 9001 and IATF 16949 requirements.

· Must have good attendance and performance.

· Maintain a strong commitment to quality at all times.

V. Qualifications:

· High School Diploma or GED required.

· Fork Truck certification and Warehouse experience required.

· Must submit to 90 day probationary period for training and evaluation.

· Must be open and available to continued education through Par 4 training programs.

· Must successfully complete Par 4 forklift training and maintain a current forklift license.

· Must be willing and able to pass random drug testing.

. Must have a valid driver's license and a clean driving record.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: From $15.50 per hour
