Data Analyst & Reporting Specialist - Job Description
Position Overview:
The Data Analyst & Reporting Specialist role focuses on data analysis, visualization, and reporting to support informed decision-making in the Non-Emergency Medical Transportation (NEMT) industry. We are seeking a candidate who is passionate about data analysis and reporting, and who is interested in contributing to the NEMT sector by helping us leverage data-driven insights to enhance the experience for our clients and partners at Provide A Ride.
Key Responsibilities:
  1. Data Analysis:
    • Collect, organize, and analyze data from various sources in the NEMT industry.
    • Identify trends, patterns, and actionable insights through data analysis.
    • Develop and maintain data models for accurate reporting.
  2. Data Visualization:
    • Utilize data visualization tools, such as Power BI, to create interactive and intuitive dashboards.
    • Transform complex data into visually appealing representations.
    • Customize dashboards to meet the specific needs of different stakeholders.
  3. Reporting and Presentations:
    • Generate regular and ad-hoc reports for internal and external audiences.
    • Prepare clear and concise presentations to communicate findings and recommendations effectively.
    • Collaborate with team members to ensure reports align with organizational goals.
  4. Data Quality Assurance:
    • Implement data validation processes to ensure data accuracy and consistency.
    • Address data discrepancies and anomalies promptly.
  5. Continuous Improvement:
    • Stay updated with industry trends and emerging data analytics tools.
    • Suggest process improvements based on data analysis and insights.
Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in a relevant field (e.g., Data Science, Business Analytics, Statistics) is preferred. However, equivalent experience will also be considered.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Power BI, and other data analytics tools.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a team and independently.
  • Attention to detail and a commitment to data accuracy.
  • Familiarity with the NEMT industry or healthcare analytics is a plus but not required.
