PAR Western Line Contractors is Hiring an Office Manager Near Atlanta, GA

About Us

About this Role

The Office Manager will be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations of the office, and its various departments. The Office Manager will communicate with department heads, relay important information or policy changes from upper management, and implement ways to enhance employee productivity.

What You'll Do

  • Maintain Accounting, Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable and Payroll records
  • Develop, analyze, and interpret statistical and accounting information
  • Monitor account receivables, maintain internal accounting controls, and solve payment problems
  • Make recommendations about new accounting programs
  • Oversee daily operations of the office, and record daily business
  • Manage a team of administrative and clerical staff, and act as the first point of contact for employees
  • Manage vendors and contractors who provide services to the company
  • Oversee, delegate and review the work of office employees to ensure productivity, deadlines and company standards are met

  • Work closely with upper management to discuss company needs and ensure company policies are in place
  • Answer telephone calls and emails from customers, and direct inquiries to the appropriate department
  • Respond to time-sensitive messages from clients, management, and employees
  • Create and monitor office budget
  • Oversee layoffs and budget cuts across departments to maintain company financial health
  • Order office supplies (stationery, furniture, appliances, equipment, electronics, etc.) as required
  • Oversee hiring and training of office employees
  • Conduct performance reviews of employees
  • Organize and file employee paperwork
  • Investigate employee complaints, and ensure appropriate disciplinary actions are taken when necessary
  • Counsel employees who are struggling in their roles
  • Improve office operations and procedures, and provide status reports to senior management
  • Work closely with the Human Resources Department, to ensure policies are being followed and employees are treated fairly
  • Ensure a safe work environment for employees
  • Organize office maintenance to keep office clean and safe
  • Produce office reports, and handle company contracts
  • Coordinate meetings and events, and maintain company schedule
  • All other duties as assigned

  • Vast experience utilizing office equipment such as computers, phones, photocopiers, and fax machines
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office
