We are looking for an Accounting Consultant to join our team! This position is hybrid, a mostly remote role with one day per week in the office in Scottsdale, AZ.

Responsibilities:

• Handle complex accounting and operational issues
• Manage international operations and foreign exchange translations
• Communicate with non-accountants to gather necessary data
• Oversee multiple consolidations in ERP and accounting systems
• Manage external auditors
• Manage assigned client businesses with substantial authority
• Be self-motivated, accountable, a team player, a problem solver, and committed to excellence
• Close companies within deadlines in an audit-ready format
• Measure success by managing companies accurately and timely, suggesting efficiency improvements, and building strong relationships

Qualifications:

• Available for one in-office day per week; hybrid for the rest
• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, CPA or CPA-eligible
• At least 2 years of audit experience with a Big 4 or national firm, or equivalent corporate accounting experience
• Proficient in IT, advanced Microsoft Office skills, and knowledge of US GAAP and internal controls
