Paradigm Information Services is Hiring an UX Designer Near Boise, ID

Paradigm is seeking a talented mid-level UX Designer to join a creative team with our client, a leader in trust and safety technology. This is a hybrid role and candidates must be able to work three days per week onsite in Boise, ID. In this role, you will apply UX design and UX research expertise to the design and validation of web applications for our client's SAAS solutions. The ideal candidate will be a designer for web solutions with experience in user research who can communicate design intent, challenge the status quo, apply design thinking, and hold a customer-centric viewpoint while being involved in the whole user experience journey.

Location: Boise, ID (Hybrid, 3 days onsite)

As the mid-level UX Designer, you will:
  • Think innovatively, keep open communications, have a fearlessness of purpose, and validate design with data.
  • Be a part of a tight project team of designers responsible for all stages of user experience design and research for a portfolio of complex SAAS solutions, including experience/information architecture, interactions, validation, and specifications.
  • Collaborate with and deliver to partners on user experience design and development (in Figma).
  • Review and evaluate designs and project activities for compliance with user experience design and development guidelines and standards (design system).
  • Contribute to and participate in user testing and research (Optimal Workshop).
  • Provide domain-specific expertise and overall user experience design expertise and perspective.
  • Work with product teams on time-boxed iterative development and delivery cycles. 

Requirements

Our skills and experience wish list include:
  • Bachelor's degree in UX Design, Product Design, Business, Human Factors Engineering, Social Sciences research, or adjacent programs.
  • Experience with application of design theories, principles, and concepts to information technology and services designs.
  • Prior experience with trust and safety technology preferred. 
  • Excellent analytical and problem solving skills.
  • Understanding and experience in designing and implementing research and data collection plans for user experience testing and acceptance.
  • Reviewing and evaluating designs for alignment with overall product architecture; recommending and implementing changes to designs and technology to improve product quality and overall user experience.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to communicate user experience data, design proposals, and product specifications, and negotiate options with functional partners and product management.
