- Think innovatively, keep open communications, have a fearlessness of purpose, and validate design with data.
- Be a part of a tight project team of designers responsible for all stages of user experience design and research for a portfolio of complex SAAS solutions, including experience/information architecture, interactions, validation, and specifications.
- Collaborate with and deliver to partners on user experience design and development (in Figma).
- Review and evaluate designs and project activities for compliance with user experience design and development guidelines and standards (design system).
- Contribute to and participate in user testing and research (Optimal Workshop).
- Provide domain-specific expertise and overall user experience design expertise and perspective.
- Work with product teams on time-boxed iterative development and delivery cycles.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in UX Design, Product Design, Business, Human Factors Engineering, Social Sciences research, or adjacent programs.
- Experience with application of design theories, principles, and concepts to information technology and services designs.
- Prior experience with trust and safety technology preferred.
- Excellent analytical and problem solving skills.
- Understanding and experience in designing and implementing research and data collection plans for user experience testing and acceptance.
- Reviewing and evaluating designs for alignment with overall product architecture; recommending and implementing changes to designs and technology to improve product quality and overall user experience.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to communicate user experience data, design proposals, and product specifications, and negotiate options with functional partners and product management.
