Job Description
Paradigm is a software company transforming the way that the residential, construction & building product industries operate across the globe. We are looking for an Architect to be part of revolutionizing these industries.
This role will focus on the development of plans for the construction of wood framed residential projects. Engaging with clients and taking their thoughts, ideas and sketches and creating the construction documentation to transform them into the home or building they desire.
What You Will Do:
- You will directly work with clients gather and understand their project requirements.
- You will lead in the development of the design phase documentation including Construction Documents, specifications & drawings.
- You will focus on planning & execution of projects from inception through completion, developing design & technical solutions throughout all phases of a project.
- You will prepare schematic design, design development and construction documents. You will develop solutions and work directly with clients and consultants.
- You may participate in client presentations and/or meetings, presenting ideas and solutions.
What You Need to Succeed:
- You have a degree in architecture.
- You have your AIA license (NCARB licensure preferred).
- You have 5 years of experience in architecture, working with multi-disciplinary teams.
- Proficiency in Rhino, or SketchUp and 3D rendering software would be a bonus.
- You have 3 years of experience with Revit and the ability to translate building design.
- You are experienced with AutoCad, Grasshopper, Dynamo & Power BI.
- You have a strong portfolio that demonstrates a high level of skill in design thinking and presentation media.
- You are flexible, able to adjust and change direction as the business & tech environments evolve & change.

Individual compensation packages are based on various factors unique to each candidate, including skill set, experience, qualifications, and other job-related reasons. Most roles at Paradigm have three levels, Associate, Mid and Senior. Our pay ranges are inclusive of all three levels (if applicable), our US based Associate level pay begins at $80,000/annually for this role. The salary does not reflect total compensation, which includes base salary and benefits. These compensation levels are subject to an annual review.
