We are looking for a Property Accountant to be responsible for the overall accounting processes of one of our properties in Alexandria, VA.What the Property Accountant will be doing: • Handling all accounting procedures including payment processing and monthly billing.• Managing the collection process including resident letters and court appearances.• Preparing accounting and related management reports.• Assisting the Property Manager with tasks in relation to managing the properties.• Handling accounting related resident relations.What the Property Accountant will need to succeed:• Experience with Entrata or similar property accounting software preferred. • Excellent computer knowledge in Microsoft Office, including Excel and Outlook. • Strong interpersonal, written communication and mathematical skills.• Ability to organize and multi-task in a busy office environment. • College degree, particularly in accounting, preferred.We offer our Property Accountants:• Pay range: $25 - $29 per hour.• Comprehensive Medical with multiple Dental and Vision options.• Health Savings Account with employer contribution.• 401(k) plan with employer match and generous vesting schedule.• Paid Time Off leave, escalating with length of service.• Recognition awards and employee referral bonuses.• Housing rental discount and free on-site parking during work hours.• In-house professional training and a ‘Promote from Within’ company culture.
