Job description
Shipping & Receiving Clerk
Job Responsibilities-
- Organize shipments and consolidations for internal/domestic shipping.
- Use a computer hardware and software to generate labels for production and shipping while maintaining equipment.
- Replenish preferred rack locations for Power Assembly and Power Punch Lines.
- Perform routine inventory checks and promptly advise supervisor of any known shortages.
- Receive returned products and incoming raw materials.
- Move material from the warehouse to production with first out (FIFO) management valuations.
- Safely and accurately load and unload all materials/products for inbound and outbound shipments.
- Pick and prepare orders in accordance with customer requirements.
- Check to ensure to ensure trailers/containers and customers loads are secure and in good condition.
- Stage wood heat-treated Euro pallets and regular B grade pallets for production requirements.
- Inspect packages to ensure they are not damaged.
- Operate warehouse equipment as required to perform tasks in a safe, attentive, and purposeful manner.
- Previous work experience in Shipping & Receiving.
- Data entry skills required.
- Forklift.
Salary: $16.00 - $22.00 per hour
