Summary Of Job DutiesThe Director of Human Resources is responsible for providing HR leadership and achieving business objectives in the areas of recruiting, employee relations, compensation, benefits, training and development.
Specific And Essential Responsibilities And Duties
  • Responsible for HR Information in the ADP system, input hires, terminations, rate changes, process improvements and all HR metrics and reporting
  • Identifies opportunities to create and implement programs to improve the effectiveness of the HR department. Manages HR team on upgrades, data loads, testing, and implementation of new systems
  • Oversees requisitions and onboarding process
  • Develops training materials and provides training, as necessary
  • Maintains integrity of company HR data through regular audits. Troubleshoots irregularities and corrects discrepancies with the assistance of the IT department
  • Designs and maintains management information reports. Extracts data for annual reports
  • Responsible for all compliance reporting
  • Responsible for monthly health insurance billing, reconciling, and reporting
  • Responsible for Workers compensation reporting, filing with WC carrier and billing
  • Ability to provide new hire orientation and other training programs, customer service, Circle of Service training
  • Interacts with Team Members and Vendors in a professional and upbeat manner
  • Complete understanding of group health insurance programs; workers compensation
  • Complete understanding and knowledge of 401(k) plans and must be an administrator on the plan
  • Understands and works with ADP HR/Payroll system and ability to run reports, input data
  • Maintain an open line of communication with Managers concerning all Team Member and applicant related issues, problems and/or solutions
  • Other related duties as assigned, such as policy development and implementation, assisting with employee investigations, assisting with Front HR Desk responsibilities, etc.

  • Multi-line phone, PC, fax machine, laser printer, printer, copier, scanner
Education, Experience & Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s degree or at least 3 -4 years equivalent experience working in an HR office as a manager or above.
  • Experience working in Nevada and complete understanding of Nevada laws.
  • Working knowledge of workers compensation, group health insurance benefits, 401(k) plan, computer programs.
Required Cards
  • Documents that establish identity and right to work in the United States.
  • Nevada Gaming Control Board registration required. .
