Summary Of Job DutiesThe Cook is responsible for executing a variety of duties ensuring all meats are grilled/cooked correctly using the timer and served on appropriate toasted bread. Specific And Essential Responsibilities And Duties
Create an atmosphere with Associates and Guests that supports the Golden Rule
Prepare and stock workstation with the accurate amount of ingredients as listed on the prep chart for assigned shift Ensuring station set up verifying proper temperature of equipment as well as the correct amount of clean sanitized utensils
Evenly toast buns and bread according to specification using bun boards or toaster
Maintains a clean, appropriately stocked and organize workstation
Monitors equipment temperature
Adheres to all food safety standards including but not limited to product temperature, product storage, and product rotation (FIFO), hand washing and sanitizing work area. Complete station HACCP and food safety checklist as required
General Job Responsibilities And Duties
Helps dressing table station add condiments to burgers as well as packaging items for the guests
Helps Fryer operator cook, portion and plate food
Scrubbing and deck brushing other areas of the restaurant as assigned
Any and all other duties as assigned
Job Requirements
High School diploma or equivalent
Must have at least one-year experience in volume kitchen specifically with hot food preparation
Knife and basic cooking skills required
Specialized knowledge in basic cooking and sanitation
Basic written and verbal English skills
Work varied shifts
Preferred
Six (6) months to one (1) year of experience in a similar setting
Bilingual
License
Food Handler's Card
Machinery Or Work Equipment Used
Grill, broiler, stove, oven Hobart machines, deep fryer, salamander
Professional grade cutlery
