Account Executive

Parakeet is an outbound sales intelligence (SaaS) company based out of Boston, MA. We're growing fast, moving quickly, and looking for an Account Executive (AE) to join our team. As an AE, you will play a crucial role in driving revenue growth, working a consultative sales cycle from inbound or outbound leads to closed won. This is an excellent opportunity for individuals looking to transition into the martech industry, with prior closing experience or extensive SDR / BDR experience.

Our Search for Stellar Candidates:

  • We are looking for candidates with a strong work ethic and a will-do-anything attitude to hit objectives and deliver results
  • Closing experience is preferred but not required as we are looking for coach-ability and will provide extensive hands-on training
  • The right candidates will demonstrate a strong ability to solve problems, be proactive, self-motivated, and take initiative (during the application and interview process)

Responsibilities:

  • Conduct a full cycle consultative sales process with both inbound and outbound leads
  • Inbound: 75% — Qualify inbound leads assigned to you, conduct qualification calls, inbound demos, and close net new inbound leads
  • Outbound: 25% — Run targeted outbound calls, emails, and LinkedIn cadences to prospective clients to close net new outbound business within our ICP
  • Effectively run the full sales cycle, inbound and outbound prospecting, discovery, negotiation, closing, and onboarding handoff.
  • Handle objections, negotiate effectively, follow up extensively, and communicate with a high level of professionalism. 

Qualifications & Expectations:

  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field preferred.
  • Experience in a closing sales role is a plus but not required. We will consider all applicants with sales-like experience
  • Excellent verbal communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to stay organized and maintain strong notes handling several net new leads and accounts each day 
  • Ability to manage high call volumes and prioritize outreach efforts effectively.
  • Results-driven mindset with a focus on meeting and exceeding targets.
  • Adaptability and a willingness to learn and grow in a fast-paced environment
  • Keep an organized CRM (Salesforce)
