Role : Data Modeling Engineer

Responsibilities:

• Relational Data Modeling:
• Design and optimize relational database structures (e.g., Oracle, SQL).
• Create data models that align with business requirements.
• SQL and PL/SQL Development:
• Write and optimize SQL and PL/SQL queries for data retrieval and manipulation.
• Develop stored procedures for data processing.
• Snowflake Development:
• Proficiency in Snowflake for data warehousing.
• Experience with Snow SQL and Snowpark.
• ETL (Extract, Transform, Load):
• Build ETL pipelines using tools like SnapLogic and Informatica.
• Extract data from various sources, transform it, and load it into target systems.
• Programming Skills:
• Proficiency in Python and JavaScript for scripting and automation.
• Cloud Technologies:
• Exposure to AWS cloud services for data storage and processing.
• Reporting:
• Preferred experience with Power BI for data visualization.

Qualifications:

• Education and Experience:
• Bachelor's degree in computer science, Information Systems, or related field.
• Relevant experience as a Data Engineer.
• Technical Skills:
• Solid understanding of data modeling principles.
• Proficiency in SQL, PL/SQL, and database development.
• ETL expertise using SnapLogic or similar tools.
• Knowledge of data warehousing concepts (e.g., Snowflake).
• Scripting skills in Python and JavaScript.
• Soft Skills:
• Analytical approach and problem-solving abilities.
• Effective communication and collaboration.
