In this opportunity, you'll meet with clients to prepare annual tax returns for personal and business (1040, 1065, 1120S). This role is also a reviewer and submitter role, so PTIN and additional credentials are required, in addition to experience.

Hours can be long during tax season but you'll have some flexibility during the off season.

Responsibilities

Oversee tax preparers, meet with clients to discuss their situation and advise on tax strategies. Manage tax preparers by helping address questions, making sure there is a quick turn around on tax filings, addressing client concerns, ensuring quality of filings. Review returns, submit for e-filing. Taking tax consultations as needed.

During the off-season, this role will likely have some opportunities to help with non-tax services and consulting, as needed. This could include some bookkeeping and various other tasks and consulting.

Qualifications

*CPA Licensure (or progress)

*Preferred 3-4 years of tax prep experience.

*Preferred 1-2 years of tax review experience.

*Must be great with people and have stellar communication.

*Must be available to work longer hours during tax season. Full days in-office are required. Work from home on occasion can be an option during certain times of the year.

*Drake Software experience a plus.
