Title: Senior Procurement Analyst
Location: Jackson, MS
Hybrid - 50% OnsiteDuration: 12 months
NOTE: Occasional travel (in state only)
Job DescriptionThe client has established a new Office of Strategic Procurement and is seeking Procurement professionals ranging from procurement processing and management to leadership and supervisory roles.
Candidates must have experience in procurement, contracts, and purchasing but also knowledge of the guidelines set forth.
Additionally, procurement staff will support departments in obtaining necessary price quotes in accordance with relevant laws and regulations and will play a crucial role in coordinating the formal bid process by advertising proposals and soliciting bids on various agency projects. In addition to procurement responsibilities, the selected individual will be involved in property management tasks. This includes assisting in the acquisition, accountability, assignment, maintenance, and disposal of agency property.
Successful candidates will play a vital role in supporting the overall efficiency of client financial operations.

Excellent verbal and written communication skills and be able to effectively interact with administration, faculty,
staff, and other outside contacts.
Preferred Skills: Government procurement experience
