WHAT WE ARE HUNGRY FOR

The position of Quality Control Manager is responsible forauditing Paris Baguette’s standards for all our food, baked products, andbeverages while ensuring all-around quality assurance for such products acrossall of our cafes, with an emphasis on ensuring compliance to company policiesand procedures, food safety standards, government regulations, and following upthat we are using best practice standards and continually improving programs inplace.

KNOWLEDGE AND RESPONSIBILITIES

• Champion adherence of all elements of the food safety andquality roadmap to ensure integration in all cafes.
• Coach and advise the café teams to ensure an adherence toall Company standards regarding quality.
• Monitor progress on opportunities and follow up with caféteams to ensure corrective actions are taken to address issues, where needed.
• Partner with café production teams and district productionmanagers to provide any necessary feedback to ensure consistency in productionstandards.
• Address non-compliance concerns by supporting districtmanagers and district production managers with follow up suggestions forcorrective actions needed in cafes based on assessments and visits.
• Support café production teams and District ProductionManagers by reinforcing updates and product specification changes as necessary.
• Audit external suppliers for food safety, food quality, andingredient specification compliance.
• Inspect ingredients, packaging materials, and finishedproducts for compliance with company standards and specifications.
• Help conduct studies to identify problems, potentialproblems, or continuous improvement opportunities relating to food quality andfood safety.
• Utilize data collection, trend information, and analysis todrive continuous improvement
• Format and compose weekly, monthly and annual QC quality andfood safety reports
• Performs other related duties and special projects asassigned

WHAT YOU NEED TO HAVE

• Related Bachelor’s degree, preferably in Food Science,Engineering or Business Administration
• 1-2 years’ relevant experience
• Knowledge of food production processes, sanitation, qualityprograms
• Knowledge on food production techniques, food microbiologyand food sanitary safety practices and procedures
• Flexible, adaptive, upbeat, open and visible work style,with a successful track record of supporting operations leaders across a largegeographically decentralized portfolio.
