General SummaryThe Kansas City Area DSD (Direct Store Delivery) Account Manager is responsible for visiting local accounts, selling, merchandising, supporting promotions on all lines the company distributes. They are responsible for building and maintaining positive store relationships for all assigned customers.

- Develop and maintain positive relationships with all grocery department managers at store level
- Maintain high levels of professionalism
- Daily ordering at all scheduled accounts before listed cutoff times for next day delivery
- Merchandising all product ordered previous day at all accounts
- Maintain clean and full product displays at all accounts
- Maintain organized and properly rotated backstock in area designated by store management
- Ensure product distribution of all authorized manufactured and partnered products
- Develop solid relationships at store level
- Increase brand presence through incremental points of interruption via racks, displays and shipper placement
- Up to date Technological Skills
- Able to manage changing priorities
- Possesses a sense of urgency in the completion of tasks
- Is highly organized with great attention to detail
- Ability to stay focused with the task at hand
- Ability to quickly analyze situations and adapt to them
- Performs other duties as assigned by manager
- Performs other duties as assigned.
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Two (2) to three (3) years of experience in DSD or related field
- Automotive transportation that will safely allow you to travel throughout the city daily for store visits.
