Job Title: Part-Time Handyman

Location: Greater Milwaukee Area

Job Description:

Park 22 Real Estate is looking for a reliable and skilled Part-Time Handyman to join our property management team in the greater Milwaukee area. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in general maintenance and repair work, with the ability to address a variety of issues that arise in our managed properties. This role requires someone who is proactive, detail-oriented, ethical and committed to maintaining the quality and safety of our properties for our tenants.

Responsibilities:

• Perform general maintenance and repairs, including plumbing, electrical, carpentry, cleaning, lawn care, HVAC and painting.
• Conduct routine inspections of properties to identify and address potential issues.
• Respond promptly to maintenance requests from tenants and property managers.
• Troubleshoot and resolve problems in a timely and efficient manner.
• Install and repair fixtures and appliances as needed.
• Ensure all work is completed to a high standard and complies with safety regulations.
• Maintain accurate records of work performed and materials used.
• Communicate effectively with property managers and tenants to provide updates on work progress.

Requirements:

• Proven experience as a handyman or in a similar maintenance role.
• Proficient in a variety of maintenance and repair tasks, including plumbing, electrical, painting, drywall and carpentry.
• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Excellent communication and customer service skills.
• Ability to work independently and manage time effectively.
• Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
• Flexibility to work part-time hours, including some evenings and weekends as needed.
• High school diploma or equivalent; technical or vocational training is a plus.
