Salary: $64,500 - $105,000

Park Consulting Group is the ‘go to’ Technology Consulting Firm that specializes in implementing permitting software solutions for cities, counties, and government agencies. Our team members specialize in serving our clients by successfully delivering permitting and citizen engagement software solutions that improve internal operations, manage new services, and enhance customer service to their constituents.

ROLE

As a Project Implementation Analyst/ Consultant, you will provide value as a client-partnering team member on various projects by being vital partner with clients to gain a comprehensive understanding of the client needs and requirements and employ the latest techniques in business analysis and software implementation methodologies. They must be adept in requirements elicitation practices such as interviews, document analysis, site visits, facilitated workshops, and more. They must be experts at requirements analysis and software lifecycle documentation, and able to craft business process details for software development and satisfying client needs and objectives. Their abilities must extend to proficient delivery of requirements questionnaires, user stories, data mapping, workflow processes, enhancement requests, and issue resolution, and can perform configuration across an enterprise system. The hired candidate will also be asked to perform various project management functions as well such as invoice reconciliation, agenda creation, task tracking, etc.

Project Implementation Analysts/ Consultants must have the confidence and ability to interact with clients and senior team members from various client, industry, and internal organizations. Project Implementation Analysts/ Consultants must have a passion for customer success and quality in technology. Potential team members with prior job titles ranging from business analyst, support analyst, and product owner, may find themselves challenged and rewarded in a Project Implementation Analyst/ Consultant position at Park Consulting Group.

You will work closely with team members and client / vendor subject matter experts to provide tactical support across multiple client projects. A successful Project Implementation Analyst/ Consultant will need to be comfortable communicating with a broad range of team members and clients, fulfilling multiple project priorities and demands, producing high quality deliverables, and being highly responsive and productive in a virtual work environment. This is not an entry level role.

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Project Administration
    • Interact effectively with a diverse group of team members and clients within the Park Consulting Group, industry, and government communities
    • Respond and document client and vendor requests to successful completion
    • Manage and perform new client project onboarding and setup processes
    • Manage deliverables, documents, and file folders organized in a standard and consistent manner
    • Keep up to date on administrative tasks such as documenting client issues, communicating agendas, submitting status reports, timesheets, and weekly expense reports, and updating systems-related client activity.
    • Lead and support meetings with project team, client, and vendors
  • Project Meetings and Workings Sessions
    • Attend project meetings, training sessions, and conferences with project team, client, and vendors mainly virtually, with travel to client sites and conferences (10-25%annual travel)
    • Create Agendas, Meeting Notes, Minutes, and Action Items and transposing to trackers, tickets, follow-up communications, and other deliverables
    • Coordinate meeting schedules with project team, client and vendor
    • Communicate status and progress updates to project team, client, and vendor
    • Communicate resolution of requests, issues, enhancements, deliverable status
  • Client Deliverables
    • Compile and review configuration documentation and data lists
    • Perform configuration into software systems and document configuration processes with supervisor oversight
    • Perform software walkthroughs of configured processes with project team and clients
    • Documentation of Issues, Enhancements, and Questions with screen records, screenshots, and descriptions
    • Document Business Processes and Software Steps in SOPs and user guides
    • Provide feedback and updates on client and vendor-owned deliverables
    • Resolve and respond to client and vendor issues and requests in a timely manner

REQUIREMENTS

  • Bachelor’s Degree
  • 2-3 Years Experience in customer-facing work, software or project implementation roles. Past qualified candidates included other experiences in customer service/ support, adult learning, etc.
  • Understanding of Project Management methodologies
  • Very strong analytical skills, including a thorough understanding of how to interpret customer business needs and translate them into the application and operational requirements for product and project delivery
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, and the ability to interact professionally with a diverse customer group including executives, managers, and subject matter experts
  • Strong interest in consulting or technology industry
  • Willingness to perform occasional evening and weekend work
  • Must be willing to commute to Irvine, CA and various cities across California and the US, as needed (valid California driver’s license is preferred)

    • Produce high quality deliverables in Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Powerpoint, Excel)
    • Tracking and successful on-time completion of assigned deliverables as well as communicating awareness to the team and clients on progress / issues
    • Consistency in producing high quality deliverables with the ability to take learnings from previously created deliverables to independently produce similar deliverables
    • Maintain high degree of confidentiality for our work
