Serve as a member of the building team; work cooperatively with building-level and central office administrators, teachers, and support personnel
Facilitates Communication to parents/guardians regarding attendance
Primary point of contact on phone and office
Handles routine office duties which may include, but are not limited to, answering office telephone, responding appropriately to requests for information, delivering messages as needed, distributing mail, and typing and filing correspondence as instructed.
Assist with the compilation of data for and typing of various forms and reports required by State and Federal agencies as directed by the building/district administrators
Assist with general secretarial duties for the school office as requested or assigned by the building administrator
Qualifications:
- High school graduate or equivalent required
- Highly motivated and self-directed
- Post-secondary training as a secretary/data clerk and/or demonstrated record of successful experience in field of identified responsibilities
- Demonstrate competence in editing, proofing, and data processing; proficient computer skills, with knowledge of and/or specific training in word processing, spreadsheet, database, etc.
- Successful record of confidentiality and handling of confidential materials
- Willingness to adapt to specific or new working situations
- Demonstrated history of continued professional growth and ability to learn on the job
Salary: District Support Services Wage Schedule – 2024-2025 base = $18.00/hour (eligible for District benefit package)
Employment Term: Thirty-five (35) hours per week, two hundred five (205) days per year
Beginning Date: July 29, 2024 or as soon as possible after hire
Closing Date: July 21, 2024
