Clear Lakes Dental provides exceptional care in preventative, restorative and other dental services in the Twin Cities. Started in 2017, we currently have four office locations – Robbinsdale, Brooklyn Park, East St Paul and Coon Rapids.

Enthusiastic, passionate team members! We are a dental practice that treats patients of all ages. Currently, we are searching for a full time Licensed Dental Assistant. LDAs will enjoy the excitement of a high quality, fast paced practice. We have a strong team.

Clear Lakes Dental's Commitment to Our Licensed Dental Assistants

• We understand education and growth is important. Therefore, CLD commits $2,000 every two (2) years for selected CEs that will allow our LDAs maintain the competitive advantage with cutting edge dentistry knowledge.
• Not penalized for no-show patients.

What You Will Be Doing

• You will be a core member of the team and will also be a part of our Hygiene team. LDAs will alternate between hygiene and other dental procedures.
• Chair side assisting during exams, root canal and surgical treatments.
• Record patient medical history and treatment information in our electronic health record.
• Instruct and encourage patients on good oral health care.
• Provide culturally competent care to diverse patients.

These are the main responsibilities, but there will be other duties as well. All of this is completed in a team environment! CLD team members are patient and organized so that they smoothly sort out potential obstacles in a timely manner, creating a calm environment for the patients, the team and yourself!

What you need to be successful

• Energetic engaging personality
• Passionate dental assisting
• Excellent communication skills
• Comfortable with computers/digital charting/x-rays
• Committed to building relationships with patients
• Completion of an accredited Dental Assistant program
• MN Dental License
• Bilingual in Spanish, Somali, Oromo or Hmong a plus.
