Park Hill School District is Hiring a Group Fitness Instructor Near Missouri, KS
Under direct supervision of the Health Enhancement Coordinator provide group fitness instruction, monitor, educate patrons on fitness and safety, and maintain a safe and enjoyable atmosphere for class participants. Sound equipment, exercise equipment, and an exercise studio are provided.
EXAMPLE OF DUTIES
- Teach scheduled classes, beginning and ending on time; provide adequate warm-up, exercises, stretching, and cool down.
- Instruct patrons on effective workout methods; explain proper techniques, demonstrate exercises; identify different muscle groups, and teach appropriate methods to strengthen specific muscles.
- Prepare appropriate equipment & music.
- Assist patrons, answer questions, and maintain a positive exercise experience for members and class participants.
- Ensure that safety standards are met, and that department and facility policies are adhered to.
