- Clean hallways, lobbies, lounges, restrooms, corridors, elevators, stairways, and locker rooms and other work areas
- Strip linens from guest rooms
- Abide by the regulations set forth by the material safety data sheets when using chemicals
- Vacuum, sweep, dust, and clean rooms to hotel standards
- Refurnish the room with supplies, towels etc.
- Take the initiative to greet guests in a friendly and warm manner
- Inspect rooms to ensure cleanliness standards
- Completing the day's housekeeping paperwork and managing the daily operations when Executive Housekeeper is out of the office
- High school diploma or GED preferred
- Previous housekeeping experience preferred
- Attention to detail
- Previous customer service experience
- Effective written and verbal communication skills
- Punctual and reliable
- Available to work nights, weekends, and holidays as needed
