Assistant Golf Coach would help assist the head coach with both the men’s and women’s golf teams at Park University. This includes running practices, creating practice plans, working on swing mechanics, etc. The teams have a Fall season (August-October) and a Spring season (March-April) with conference championships in late April or early May. Park University golf teams play and practice at The National Golf Club & The Bluffs Golf Club. Position involves traveling with the teams to tournaments. Park University is a NAIA institution which competes in the Heart of America Athletic Conference.
This is a part time position working 20 hours per week during golf season.
Job Tasks:

• Serve in a support role to the head coach
• Attend practices and games
• Some recruiting
• Must have the ability to achieve certification to transport students to team athletic events.
• Other duties as assigned by the Head Coach & Director of Athletics.

Position Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree preferred.
• Demonstrated successful experience in playing and/or coaching at collegiate, university, or professional level.
• Knowledge of NAIA and Heart of America rules and regulations.
• A proven record of integrity, high principles and demonstrated skill in developing and motivating student-athletes academically and athletically.
• Have experience working with students from diverse backgrounds and cultures.
• Valid Drivers license
• Candidate must pass a pre-employment background investigation to be hired for this position.
