Parker Hannifin is Hiring a Production II- Pleater Operator (2nd Shift 1pm-930pm M-F) Near Sylacauga, AL
Position SummaryThe Pleater Operator is responsible for maintaining a consistent workflow by practicing multiple tasks such as: assembling multiple components, packing product, quality assurance, and operating light duty machinery. This position will advocate and support the Corporate Win Strategy.
Supervision And InteractionNo supervisory duties; however, the employee will interact with management, engineers and personnel from multiple departments.

Essential Functions
- Perform efficiently and cooperatively based on work instructions.
- Identify safety concerns throughout the plant.
- Understands and assembles product based on work instructions/travelers.
- Implement standards set by production.
- Strive to continuously improve quality and safety.
- Operate several types of machinery with intermediate knowledge including digital interfaces.
- Operating complex machinery.
- Perform quality inspections.
- Examine materials delivered to the work cell to verify conformance to specifications.
- Maintain 5s standards in the cells.
- Intermediate understanding of quality, based on Parker standards.
Qualifications
- High School Diploma/GED equivalent
- U.S. Citizenship required
- Manufacturing experience is preferred
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs
- Ability to stand for an extended period.
- Knowledge of basic mathematical arithmetic and diagram reading
- Exceptional attendance and attitude.
- Effective communication skills.
