Position SummaryProvide inspection, shipping and receiving services for the manufacturing facility. Control of finished goods inventory as well as raw materials inventory. Responsible for the movement of materials and Work in Progress (WIP) from one function to the next.

Essential Functions Statement(s)
- Daily attendance is a requirement of the job, as is arriving on time. Overtime is expected, and may be required, when customer demand dictates the need.
- S/R Associate Operator B:
- Perform all packing and shipping of finished goods plus 50% of the following:
- Perform assembly operations of seals
- Operate the laser marking and banding equipment.
- Be up to 50% proficient in material handling
- Maintain control over and perform incoming inspection of all raw materials.
- S/R Associate Operator A: Perform all duties of S/R AO B:
- Should be 100% proficient in material handling
- Interpret Factory Orders to determine tooling required for inspection
- Perform final part inspection ensuring part meets all work order specifications.
- Maintain control of finished product inventory.
- All Shipping/Receiving Associate Operators should be able to perform the following:
- Perform preventive and basic maintenance on required equipment.
- Actively participate and support the plant’s safety program. Report any injury or near hit immediately to your Team Lead, Supervisor, or EHS Manager. Report all unsafe conditions immediately to a Team Lead, Supervisor, Value Stream Manager or EHS Manager.
- Actively participate in assigned High-Performance Team. The HPTs are meant to improve the work experience by allowing the employees an opportunity to lead and participate in continuous improvement projects.
- Record accurate and timely data, including order completions and quantity on daily labor reports, reclaim tickets for reject parts, and daily hours worked.
- Maintain a safe, clean, and orderly work area. Keep all walkways and aisles free of any debris or clutter. Maintain 5S standards by returning tools to shadow boards. Sweep floor and finishing area as needed.
- Other duties as assigned.
- Read measuring tools and comprehend manufacturing prints to verify parts are within specification
- Accuracy - Ability to perform work accurately and thoroughly.
- Detail Oriented - Ability to pay attention to the minute details of a project or task.
- Safety Awareness - Ability to identify and correct conditions that affect employee safety.
