Practice Group Overview:

This top law firm is seeking a Bankruptcy Associate who is a 2018 to 2021 law school graduate for their creditor-focused bankruptcy practice, which includes representation of secured creditors, indenture trustees, claims traders, landlords, asset acquirers, and others. The position will involve a wide range of matters, and often should enable the candidate to take on significant responsibility.

Responsibilities:

• Legal writing and research
• Preparation of pleadings and other documentation
• Participation in discovery proceedings and court hearings, as necessary

Requirements:

• Excellent professional and academic credentials
• 2018 to 2021 law school graduate (high GPA/top law school)
• Relevant law firm experience which includes representation of secured creditors, indenture trustees, claims traders, landlords, asset acquirers, and others
• Strong legal writing and research experience
• NY Bar admission

Compensation & Benefits:

$215,000 to $265,000/year -- The salary offered to a successful candidate will be dependent on several factors that may include, but are not limited to, years of experience within the job, years of experience within the required industry, education, etc.
