ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Responsibilities:
- Review and correct store paperwork to ensure errors are corrected and forms are updated
- Support store managers, loss prevention and operations with timely information
- Review cash discrepancies on a daily basis
- Research inventory discrepancies using exception reporting
- Reconcile Georgia and South Carolina lottery
- Reconcile selected trade vendors
- Reconcile general ledger accounts pertaining to inventory and transfers
- Ensure that inventory is reconciled prior to month end close
- Assist in testing of new forms and PDI upgrade
- Ability to solve problems
- Knowledge of PDI and Excel
- Must be able to work in an office environment
- Ability to work as a member of a team
- Maintain a positive attitude
- Adhere to company policies and procedures
- Detail orientated, excellent organizational skills
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Required:
- An accounting degree is preferred , but equivalent experience, or a combination of education and experience will be considered.
- Prolonged periods sitting at a desk and working on a computer
- Must be able to lift up to 15 pounds at times
