Position Overview:
As a Massage Therapist at Parkland Golf and Country Club, you will be responsible for delivering professional massage therapy services to club members and guests in a relaxing and rejuvenating spa environment. Your role will involve providing customized treatments to address the unique needs and preferences of each individual client, contributing to their overall wellness and relaxation experience.

Key Responsibilities:

Massage Therapy Sessions:
Perform a variety of massage techniques, including Swedish, deep tissue, aromatherapy, and hot stone massage, among others, based on client preferences and therapeutic objectives.
Conduct thorough client assessments to identify areas of tension, discomfort, and muscle tightness, tailoring treatments to address specific concerns.
Create a tranquil and soothing atmosphere conducive to relaxation and stress relief for clients during massage sessions.
Ensure the safety, comfort, and privacy of clients throughout the massage therapy experience.

Client Communication and Education:
Communicate effectively with clients to understand their health history, preferences, and treatment goals.
Provide guidance and recommendations for self-care practices and lifestyle modifications to enhance the benefits of massage therapy between sessions.
Educate clients about the various massage techniques available and their potential therapeutic effects.

Administrative Duties:

Professional Development:

Obtain and maintain all necessary licenses, certifications, and credentials required to practice massage therapy in accordance with state or local regulations.

Maintain a clean, organized, and welcoming spa environment for clients, adhering to sanitation and hygiene protocols at all times.

Qualifications:
Completion of a formal massage therapy program from an accredited institution.
Valid state or national licensure as a massage therapist.
Certification in CPR and basic first aid (preferred).
Excellent communication, interpersonal, and customer service skills.
