Job Details DescriptionPDI Support and Operations
Ensure optimal availability and performance of in-scope technologies.
Responsible for engaging staff, peer departments and business users to identify, diagnosis and resolve support requests.
Understand and follow system control and change management processes.
Create new processes to simplify tasks and determine how they would be implemented by operations, including the Cash and Audit Team, District Managers, Managers, and the Merchandising Team.
Assist with designing store level procedures with PDI, including but not limited to ordering, receiving, markup / markdowns, audits, cycle counts, daily close, and pricing.
Data Integrity of Pricebook Database
Identify and design data workflow improvements, including adding automation to operations’ usage of PDI.
Ensure consistent product taxonomy to fully maximize reporting capabilities.
Lead design and development of defect resolution and enhancements.
Management and Communication
Engage and partner with super users and business community.
Actively prioritize enhancement/defect backlogs and deployments with team.
Communicate with Category/Marketing managers, Accounting, Operations, and IT personnel to resolve operational and technical issues.
Provide training and operational guidance to team members.
Consult with and advise on development of programs and merchandising communications.
Responsible for management, development, and performance of three internal team members and several external partners. This team is responsible for managing customer service and resolving incidents related to PDI.
Provide proactive, consistent, and constructive communication related to project/issue updates, direction and plans to the PDI user community, peer IT organizations.
Project Management
Work with PMO staff or assume project manager responsibilities, when necessary/appropriate.
Define scope, deliverables, sprint, timelines, and resources that support business goals in collaboration with senior management and stakeholders.
Manage and track the status of requirements throughout the project lifecycle; enforce and redefine as necessary, communicate changes to project team and stakeholders.
Work closely with operations, finance, and accounting to continually enhance processes supporting the PDI system across all operating models.
Projects include inventory, EDI, delivery and OTR enablement.
Qualifications And Skills
Bachelor’s degree required.
Demonstrable knowledge of PDI, or similar ERP, Accounting or Pricing system.
Experience in convenience store, oil and gas, retail, or other supply chain/ERP-intensive industries.
Extensive demonstrable knowledge of core technical skills in solution design, ERP technologies, system operation, data integration.
Experience setting direction for and managing others.
Outstanding customer service and communication skills.
College or University degree in related field.
Bilingual - English and Spanish), oral and written, is a strong asset.
