About Us Tru by Hilton Wilmington Wrightsville Beach will be Wilmington’s newest hotel, located adjacent to the coveted 400-acre Mayfaire Town Center. Tru by Hilton is a fun, vibrant new hotel brand grounded in value and offering all the essentials for today’s travelers. The hotel opens July 2024 and will be located at 1010 Ashes Drive, Wilmington, NC 28405.The RoleAs a Houseperson, you’re the extra set of hands that keeps our hotel and housekeeping department running smoothly.

What You'll Do
- Assist the housekeeping and front desk teams by delivering supplies, linens, and amenities to guest rooms.
- Support the housekeeping team in ensuring that rooms are ready for guest arrivals.
- Collaborate with housekeepers to coordinate the timely turnover of guest rooms.
- Help with the removal of trash and used linens, ensuring proper disposal.
- Respond promptly to guest requests for additional items or assistance.
- Maintain an organized inventory of housekeeping supplies.
- Your attention to detail ensures that supplies are delivered accurately and on time.
- A proactive attitude is your signature – you anticipate the needs of the housekeeping team and our guests.
- Previous experience in a similar role in a hotel setting is a plus but not required.
- Strong communication skills are essential for coordinating with various departments.
- You're physically fit and capable of lifting and moving supplies and equipment.
- Your schedule flexibility means you're open to weekends and holidays.
