Overview:

We are seeking a detail-oriented and organized individual to join our team as an Accounting Clerk. As an Accounting Clerk, you will play a crucial role in maintaining accurate financial records and ensuring the smooth operation of our accounting department. This is a full-time position based in .

Duties:

- Perform data entry and maintain financial records using accounting software, such as Reynolds & Reynolds/Ignite

-- Prepare and process journal entries for various accounts

- Conduct general ledger reconciliation to ensure accuracy of financial data

- Assist with accounts payable functions, including invoice processing and payment reconciliation

- Support the accounting team with ad hoc tasks and projects as needed

Qualifications:

- Previous experience in accounting or related field preferred

- Proficiency in Reynolds & Reynolds/Ignite or similar accounting software

- Strong attention to detail and accuracy in data entry

- Knowledge of basic accounting principles and practices

- Familiarity with general ledger reconciliation processes

- Excellent organizational skills and ability to prioritize tasks effectively

- Strong communication skills, both written and verbal

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $16.00 - $17.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week
